Things to Do at Cool KIDS’ SUMMER at Magic Kingdom: Space Adventures and Circus Fun
Magic Kingdom is bringing extra energy this season with special Cool KIDS’ SUMMER experiences for families. From circus-themed fun to out-of-this-world dance moves, these pop-up parties add a dose of playfulness and character interaction to your park day.
During last year’s debut, I attended a hosted media event to see what’s happening at Magic Kingdom in the summer. Here’s what we enjoyed at Cool KIDS’ SUMMER in this most magical kingdom of them all.
While details are still being released, Cool KIDS’ SUMMER starts on May 26, 2026.
Cool KIDS’ SUMMER at Magic Kingdom
NEW FOR 2026! Jessie’s Roundup: A Rip-Roarin’ Review in Magic Kingdom
Location: Frontierland, Diamond Horsehoe
A new limited-time, Toy Story–themed Cool KIDS’ SUMMER exclusive experience, Jessie’s Roundup: A Rip-Roarin’ Revue, will debut at the Diamond Horseshoe in Frontierland, featuring Jessie, Woody, Bullseye, and more “Toy Story” pals in an energized roundup with songs, dance, games and other playful activities.
Big Top Bash at Storybook Circus
Location: Fantasyland, near Big Top Souvenirs
Under the red-and-white tent of Storybook Circus, kids can dance along with a DJ Ringmaster, surprise appearances, and enjoy midway-style games. There is plenty of shade and seating for tired parents to put their feet up while the kids enjoy some circus-themed fun.
My family of three loved the female duo that performed juggling and other impressive feats in classic circus style. We laughed and were wowed, all while enjoying some much needed rest time out of the sun and off our feet.

Step inside Big Top Souvenirs to cool off with hands-on activities and interactive games in the air conditioning.

This party space captures the fun of a classic carnival with a Disney twist. If you’re already visiting Fantasyland with little ones, this is a great place to take a break from the rides while still keeping the fun going.
What to Expect:
- Outdoor (but shaded) dance party with DJ Ringmaster
- Surprise visits from Pluto or other characters
- Indoor activities and games inside Big Top Souvenirs
- Carnival-style vibe and playful theming
Parent Tip: If you’re traveling with toddlers or preschoolers, this is a great midday stop, especially when the Florida heat starts to climb.
Galactic Blast in Tomorrowland
Location: Rocket Tower Plaza Stage
Head to Tomorrowland for a space-inspired celebration featuring a live DJ, dancing, and surprise appearances by Stitch. This party takes place in front of the Rocket Tower Plaza Stage.
During our visit, the party ran from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (right in the middle of the hottest part of the day.) The entire area is in direct sun, so be sure to hydrate and take breaks before and after dancing it out with this high-energy Cool KIDS’ SUMMER experience.
What to Expect:
- DJ dance party with spacey vibes
- Surprise Stitch appearances
- Music and energy that’s fun for a wide age range
Parent Tip: This is a great early evening stop when the area is lit up and crowds start to shift toward the castle. It’s also an easy transition from nearby attractions like Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin (which is reopening April 8, 2026 just in time for this summer).
Final Thoughts
So let your kids dance under the circus tent and jam with Stitch in Tomorrowland. Magic Kingdom’s Cool KIDS’ SUMMER offerings add more kid-friendly fun to your day without the need for a Lightning Lane or dining reservation. These experiences are ideal for families looking to slow down, cool off, and let little ones take the lead.
