I’m a Disney fan through and through, and that includes all the magical worlds like Star Wars and Marvel. And of course, this means my son is getting into the fandom too. Come with us as we head to a special Disney Play House Experience event to explore an incredible array of toys, games, and fun family merchandise from Disney, Pixar, Star Wars, and more.

LEGO® Star Wars 25th Anniversary
One of the things I love to share with my son is LEGO Star Wars. He’s a bit young for the full Star Wars saga, and I am finding as he is reaching school age the Star Wars LEGO sets are a great way to introduce him without getting into the intensity of the movies.
2024 marks the 25th anniversary of the LEGO® Star Wars collaboration between the LEGO Group and Lucasfilm!
There are lots of cool LEGO Star Wars sets, and for the 25th anniversary, there is a special edition Millennium Falcon set. During the Disney Play House Experience, my son immediately gravitated to this impressive set.
Mickey & Friends
I love adding a few Disney touches to our home, and that includes the kitchen. Mickey & Friends brings warmth and optimism into everyday life through home goods, toys, and more.
During the special experience, we made our own Mickey Waffle Board. My son called ours the “Very Berry Board” – cute right?
Disney Princess
The latest collaboration from Disney Princess, the all-new collection by American Girl features dolls inspired by Disney’s Ariel, Tiana, and Cinderella. I loved seeing these dolls and the accessories.
The American Girl Tiana doll has a precious New Orleans-inspired outfit, complete with a plate of beignets!
Of course, there are fan-favorite dolls from Mattel and role-play costumes and accessory sets from Jakks Pacific available too.
Marvel Super Heroes
Another set of toys, collectibles, accessories, and that I couldn’t wait to see involves the Marvel Super Heroes. How great is it that adults and teens can get into Marvel Super Hero collectibles, while younger fans have plenty of toys – and preschoolers even have Spidey and His Amazing Friends on Disney Junior.
My son gravitated to Mattel Hot Wheels RacerVerse cars. Then we caught sight of the awesome Spidey & Friends Web Spinners Webquarters Play Set.
Although he’s already grown into regular Monopoly, the Monopoly Junior: Marvel Spidey and His Amazing Friends caught my eye.
Disney Store
Who else misses the old-school Disney Stores in the malls? The great news is there are many fun things to enjoy at DisneyStore.com that bring back memories of those glory days. DisneyStore.com is the official online home for all things Disney, Pixar, Star Wars, and beyond.
There are some new interactive toys perfect for indoor and outdoor play. And we played with Woody and Rex, two of the new Toy Story toys that can interact with each other.
There was so much to see at the Disney Play House Experience and we only had a few moments in each area. Still, there are plenty of great ways to have some fun as a family with these toys and merchandise.
