LEGOLAND Reveals Galacticoaster Ride Vehicles and Opens Junior Galaxy Explorers Search
If you’ve been watching the construction at LEGOLAND Florida Resort like we have, you know the buzz has been building for months. My kid points out that big new show building every single visit. Today LEGOLAND officially revealed the Galacticoaster ride vehicles at IAAPA, and we were basically cheering the minute it happened. The ride was announced earlier this year, but now we finally know what families will actually be boarding, and it looks incredible.

Galacticoaster Ride Vehicles
The newly revealed coaster vehicles lean all-in on that classic LEGO Space vibe: bold colors, chunky shapes, and a playful design that feels straight out of your kid’s brick-built imagination. Seeing the real thing makes the whole experience feel so much closer, and my child is now counting the days until opening.

Inside the attraction, families will follow Chief Engineer Biff Dipper into the Briefing Room before customizing their own spacecraft using touchscreens and RFID wristbands. Kids get to choose the nose, wings, tail, and special features, unlocking more than 625 possible combinations.
Their design becomes part of the story once the coaster launches into a glowing LEGO galaxy filled with space creatures, Easter eggs, and a few silly surprises.

Junior Galaxy Explorers Search Is Open
And here’s the part your LEGO-loving kids will flip over: the Junior Galaxy Explorers Search is now open. It’s a nationwide search for young space fans who want to join the first team of Junior Explorers and get early access to LEGO Galaxy experiences—yes, that includes being among the first to ride the Galacticoaster on opening day.
Kids ages 6–12 can participate by showing off their creativity and love for LEGO Space. This is such a fun way to get excited for the new attraction, especially for families who’ve been watching the construction right alongside us.
