It’s hot, it’s humid. Have you had enough of summer break yet? While many visitors to Orlando are still soaking up those summer vibes, many of us are ready to move on to cooler weather. Thankfully, there are a few Christmas in July events in Orlando that are great for families, and hopefully, help usher in the changing of the seasons.
Christmas in July Events
There will be lots of activities for the kids, and rumor has it that the big guy from the North Pole will be making an appearance at some of these fun events.
Sanford’s Christmas in July
- Date: Saturday, July 11, 2026, 11am – 4pm
- Location: Downtown Sanford
- Cost: FREE admission
Start your day at the Sanford Information Center at 230 E 1st St to pick up your shopping passport for a chance to win a raffle for local merchants’ gift cards. Collect a stamp from all participating merchants, then drop off your fully stamped passport at the Sanford Information Center by 6 pm for the raffle drawing. It’s like a festive scavenger hunt with your kids!
Merry & Scary Mashup

It’s the ultimate holiday showdown! Oviedo Mall’s Merry & Scary Market is a mashup of the year’s best holidays! Participants in this event can decide to be Team Halloween or Team Christmas.

Celebrate the holiday spirit early at Children’s Planet with a week of festive fun perfect for toddlers and young children. Each day will feature a different surprise activity, including elf camp games, dressing for Christmas, baking a holiday treat, and even a special surprise visitor on Friday at 4:30pm. No RSVP is needed—activities are included with regular admission.
Santa’s Family Luau – Christmas in July – Worth the drive!
