LEGO Festival at LEGOLAND Florida Resort returns in July!

|

Get ready for an epic celebration of creativity and play at LEGOLAND Florida! The resort, along with LEGOLAND resorts around the world, is bringing back LEGO® Festival!

The party kicks off on July 20 and will run through August 16, 2026. We got a peek on opening day when the festival launched last summer, and we’re dishing on all the details to help you plan your most awesome day ever!

What to expect at LEGO Festival at LEGOLAND Florida in 2026

The event creators were looking through a child’s eyes as they put this event together, so playtime was a top priority with dancing, music, and building!

There are five immersive zones at the Festival, and you can expect all-new content in the Play Zone and Thrill Zone this year. Here’s the best part—it’s all included with admission!

Once you enter the front gate, head over to the LEGO Festival table to pick up your festival wristband and map, which will highlight top activities at each zone. And every stop includes some sort of LEGO build, so there are plenty of opportunities to tap into your creativity!

NEW! Build Competition in 2026

For extra LEGO Festival bragging rights, guests can participate in the 3 Build Challenge and collect stamps on the LEGO Festival map as they conquer each zone.

It’s as easy as Build, Collect, Reward – those completing three or more exclusive LEGO® Festival brick-building activities can pick up a 3‑in‑1 LEGO® Creator gift before heading home.

Bonus: There’s a LEGO Insiders points giveaway available for grown-up builders, too!

“We’re delighted to welcome LEGO Festival back for a second year. It’s designed as a vibrant multi-area experience around the park, where children lead the way through play – with dedicated zones, build activities, live moments and plenty of chances to meet many different LEGO characters,” said Brian Bacica, Vice President of LEGOLAND Florida Resort. “And because it sits within the wider resort experience, families can mix epic festival activities with rides and attractions throughout the day.”

The 2026 LEGO Festival Zones:

This year’s LEGO Festival is full of BRAND NEW fun, including LEGO® Pokémon™, LEGO® F1®, new zones, snacks, and more. Check out all the brick-tastic details!

Play Zone:

This is BIG news for Pokémon fans!!! LEGO® Pokémon™  is headlining this year’s Play Zone, featuring the all-new LEGO® Pokémon™ SMART Play™ sets.

Pro-tip: The LEGO® Pokémon™ Trainer Center experience uses a virtual queue system through the Legoland Florida app. In order to secure a time slot for the experience, be sure to join the virtual line and pay attention for your callback time.

Here, the kids will get to step inside a LEGO® Pokémon™ inspired world, joining in hands-on activities like feeding, training, and battling that bring play to life and Pokémon into the physical realm through the NEW LEGO® SMART Play™ system.

Little ones can pick from Pikachu, Charmander, Bulbasaur, Squirtle, and Eevee to take into battle with them!

After your little one picks out their Pokémon™, they’ll activate and insert the interactive piece and then they will enter the Nurture area where they can build their Pokémon a tasty snack, then head to the snack table to add a SMART tag and see how their Pokémon reacts.

Next, they’ll head to the training site where they can prepare their Pokémon™ for battle. After that, it’s time to step into the arena where they can then battle against another trainer’s Pokémon™!

They can also build and display a LEGO Poké Ball, plus snap a photo with the giant LEGO® Pikachu model.

Thrill Zone:

This new zone features the racing thrills of LEGO® F1®!

You’ll get a chance to compete against the clock to complete the fastest LEGO® F1® pit stop tire change in the Brick Stop Challenge! This timed test is where you and your family—or just the kids— can work as a pit crew team to change the tires and rebuild the LEGO racecar!

In the Thrill Zone, you can also experience the Pit Lane Hype Show, a live, beat-driven drum and percussion experience performed using only tools and snapping bricks, and design, build, and race your own LEGO® F1® brick vehicles inside!

Chill Out Zone:

Unwind, explore, and build in this secret garden in this quieter zone designed for a peaceful, plant-filled escape! This is a great place to take a break from all the action and the Florida heat!

In LEGO® Botanicals “Build & Bloom,” guests can build a LEGO Botanicals flower and add it to a growing display, including LEGO brick butterflies and bug build – brand new for 2026.

There’s also a Gardener LEGO model to meet and the “Playtime with Hopsy” chilled-out stage show.

Music Zone:

Turn up the volume and rock out in the Music Zone featuring the “Battle of the Bands” show, where Rockstars and Popstars go head-to-head.

This is a great place for your kids to get the wiggles out as they interact, sing, and dance with the LEGO performers!

There were three showtimes on the day we visited: 10:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., and 3:30 p.m.

Pro-tip: Showtimes vary throughout the day, so be sure to check the performance schedule early in the day so you can plan accordingly. The show will be canceled due to rain or storms, so be on the lookout for the weather too!

Families can also help add to a large festival mosaic by completing one of the tile templates. Then, you can watch your creation get added to the giant LEGO Festival mosaic!

You’ll also be able to spot selfie-friendly LEGO models and meet characters including Melody Raye and Lyric Santos after the show.

Creative Zone:

Get hands-on in this unique building zone designed to help kids test ideas and see creations take shape. They can make their own creations or make one of the builds featured, like a monkey, giraffe, turtle, and more!

There are also Master Model Builder sessions such as “The Anything Animal” and “Let’s Create a Creature” where your child can learn from a master builder!

Plus, photo moments with the festival LEGO® Panda and LEGO® Peacock that guests can add LEGO brick build “feathers” to – it’s a colorful, creative playground.

Enjoy the new Lyrical Lemonade, featuring strawberry-flavored popping boba, and diced mango for a refreshingly cool sip! LEGOLAND has also brought back their LEGO minifigure head cookie that your kids can decorate!

LEGOLAND also has plenty of eateries, which is great for any picky child! We ate at the Burger Kitchen and had some chicken tenders and fries, which were the perfect refuel during our day!
