LEGO NINJAGO Weekends at LEGOLAND Florida: A Parent Planning Guide
LEGOLAND® Florida Resort brings the world of NINJAGO to life during LEGO NINJAGO Weekends, a limited-time event packed with shows, character moments, hands-on activities, and themed treats. It’s one of our favorite things to do on a weekend this time of year.
With a few dates remaining in 2026, January 31 and February 7, 14, 15, now is the time to go full ninja! If you’re planning a visit with kids, here’s what to expect — plus tips that make the day smoother for parents.
A Parent’s Guide to LEGO Ninjago Weekends
LEGO NINJAGO Weekends are thoughtfully paced, with helpful showtimes, character meet-and-greets, and enough flexibility to mix in rides and downtime. With a little planning around shows and character lines, it’s an easy way to enhance a LEGOLAND day for NINJAGO fans, all included in admission!

This is my third year visiting LEGOLAND Florida during Ninjago Weekends, and now that my son is practically a tween, he is at the perfect age to enjoy the Ninjago theme.
Brick Builds, Games, and All-Day Activities
Most hands-on activities run 11:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., making it easy to fit them in between shows.
Ultimate Dragon Build Activity
Location: Outside LEGO NINJAGO World
Kids can grab LEGO bricks and use their imagination to build the ultimate dragon.
15th Celebration Mosaic
Location: LEGO NINJAGO World
Families work together to complete a giant mosaic celebrating 15 years of LEGO NINJAGO.
Name That Ninja
Location: LEGO NINJAGO World
A scavenger-style challenge where kids search for hidden clues and match them to the correct ninja. My son loved participating in this one as he is getting to know the Ninjago characters.
Character Meet-and-Greets: What Parents Should Know
There is one primary character meet-and-greet location during NINJAGO Weekends:
Heartlake Town Hall
Time: 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
- Character appearances run continuously
- Characters rotate, so which ninja you meet is random
- The meet-and-greet is indoors, though lines may extend outside
During our visit, we met with Lord Ras. We loved showing off our ninja moves together as a family. Other characters that rotate throughout the day are Kai, Nya, Arin, Zane, and P.I.X.A.L.
Characters also appear after each show, but parents should be ready to line up immediately when a show ends. Even a short delay can mean missing that opportunity.
Show Schedule: What Happens (and When)
Lloyd’s Elemental Challenge
Location: LEGO City Stage
Showtimes: 11:00 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 3:00 p.m.
Duration: Approximately 17 minutes
This high-energy show kicks off the NINJAGO experience, with Lloyd challenging a new generation of ninjas. Expect stunts, special effects, and big ninja moves that hold kids’ attention without overstaying their welcome.

Whip Around Dance Party
Location: In front of LEGOLAND Coffee Co.
Times: 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.
Duration: Approximately 15 minutes
Hosted by Sora, this interactive dance party gives kids a chance to burn off. Since it is at the very front of the park, it can be a tough location, but for Ninjago fans, it’s worth it. It’s casual and upbeat!
Ceremony of the Ninja
Location: In front of LEGOLAND Coffee Co.
Time: 5:30 p.m.
Duration: Approximately 10 minutes
This short closing ceremony celebrates the day’s ninja adventures and serves as a natural wrap-up point for families heading out before dinner or bedtime.
Get to this one by 5:00 p.m. It is a small area near the exit of the park, and since it is the last festivity at the end of the day, it is popular. Rides near the front of the park stay open right up until 6:00 p.m. so squeeze in one last ride on the carousel or in Duplo Valley after you witness this ultimate Ninjago celebration.

Ninja Treats: Festival Food Highlights
The themed food offerings are a fun surprise — with a couple of notes parents will want to know.
Balanced Bao Bun – Kickin’ Chicken Co.
Two steamed bao buns filled with crispy tempura chicken, Japanese BBQ sauce, cucumbers, carrots, cilantro, spicy mayo, and chopped peanuts.
Allergy note: Peanuts are a key ingredient.

Matcha Arts Apple Fries
Granny’s Apple Fries topped with matcha soft-serve ice cream, toasted coconut, mini mochi, and green sprinkles. The matcha flavor is mild and refreshing rather than overpowering.
Festival food offerings wrap up at 5:30 p.m., which pairs well with the final ceremony and makes it easier for families to head home on time.
