Two Florida theme parks take top spots in HomeToGo’s 2025 Theme Park Index

Parents looking for budget-friendly theme park fun this summer are in luck! Two Florida parks just ranked among the top ten most affordable theme parks in the U.S., according to HomeToGo’s 2025 Theme Park Index. And one of our favorites, Peppa Pig Theme Park made the list!

This theme park in Winter Haven was ranked #3 overall, thanks to its relatively low ticket cost and affordable nearby accommodations. Peppa Pig Theme Park is especially ideal for preschoolers, offering gentle rides, splash areas, and interactive play zones perfect for a little one’s first theme park experience.

I feel so lucky to have been able to take my son here from the time he was a preschooler to now. Yes, he is in elementary school, but he still loves Peppa Pig Theme Park. For neurodivergent families, this theme park is perfect!

HomeToGo’s 2025 Theme Park Index

Thankfully, there are lots of affordable things to do with kids in Orlando. And we love that Peppa Pig Theme Park is among them!

The Index, published annually by vacation rental marketplace HomeToGo, looked at average ticket prices, parking fees, and nightly rates for nearby accommodations. Here’s how Florida stacked up:

Top Florida Theme Parks for Affordability:

  • #1 Fun Spot America (Orlando): No parking fee and low-cost nearby stays helped this locally loved park take the top spot again.
  • #3 Peppa Pig Theme Park (Winter Haven): With a ticket price of $54 and affordable lodging nearby, this park is a great option for families with young kids.
  • Florida overall has the lowest average accommodation cost among all ranked states, at just $53 per night per person via HomeToGo.

The full ranking includes 40 theme parks across the U.S., but Florida shines as a destination where families can still enjoy theme park magic without blowing the budget.

Even though major parks like Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando didn’t crack the top 10, Florida’s low lodging prices help balance out higher ticket and parking costs, making the state one of the best choices for families looking to stretch their vacation dollars.

  • Legoland Florida Resort – ranked #27, $197 total price
  • Disney’s Animal Kingdom – ranked #32, $232 total price
  • Epcot – ranked #32, $252 total price
  • Disney’s Hollywood Studios – ranked #32, $252 total price
  • Magic Kingdom – ranked #32, $257 total price
  • Universal Islands of Adventure – ranked #37, $294 total price
  • Universal Studios Florida – ranked #37, $294 total price
