Awesome 4th of July Family-Friendly Cookouts and Pool Parties

Nothing says ‘Merica like BBQs and picnic-style feasts with the family. Check out these awesome events happening this 4th of July to celebrate our great nation with some great eats. All family-friendly, just pack up the car (and comfortable clothes) for these fun feasts around town.

And don’t overlook the patriotic parades around town, and the best fireworks for families!

4th of July Places to Eat and Cookouts

The View Clermont

When: July 4th, 11am-11pm
Where: Clermont
Cost: FREE, food and beverage cost vary

For a hot ticket, head out to The View Clermont for steaks on the grill alongside all your other 4th of July faves. 

Expect food trucks, steak cookout from 4-8pm, live music on the patio and sparklers for the kids! Reserve your steak online in advance to make sure you don’t miss out, since the steaks are limited! You don’t need a reservation to attend, however.

Eden Bar’s July 4th BBQ

When: July 4th, 12-5pm
Where: The Enzian Theater, 1300 South Orlando Avenue, Maitland, FL 32751

Hamburgers, hot dogs, sides, and festive drinks are on the menu for this Fourth of July fest under the foliage and shade of the Enzian’s beautiful Eden Bar patio. 

Omni Resort 4th of July Pool Party

When: July 4th, all day
Where: Omni Resort at Championsgate, 1500 Masters Blvd, Championsgate, FL 33896
Cost: Free for guests. The fireworks display is open to the public, but pool day passes can be purchased for the pool day at their website

Expect a BBQ at the pool grill, splash in six pools, and enjoy live music and entertainment. Fireworks start at 9pm!

July 4th at Rock & Brews Oviedo

Come for your favorite snackies and Americana vibes at Rock & Brews, where on the 4th they will be dishing up live music, and beer & BBQ specials!

A perfect combination of poolside grilling, a splash zone for the kids, and live music makes for an awesome day on the Indian River in Titusville. Your ticket includes hot dogs and hamburgers and hours of poolside fun. Drinks can be purchased at the pool bar.

July 4th BBQ and Pool Party at Cypresswood Golf & Country Club

When: July 4th, 4-7pm

Open to the public, join this free poolside event featuring live music, food for purchase, and icy snowball treats for the kiddos!

DIY BBQ for Independence Day

Bring home a DIY feast from Orlando’s hottest BBQ joint, The Ravenous Pig. They’re offering pick up meals for pre-purchase. Details here.

While you’re thinking of DIY BBQ…don’t forget 4 Rivers, Mission BBQ, and all the other wonderful BBQ shops around town! 

And what better way to spend a day than grilling out at the Florida State Parks and Orange County Parks? Expect crowds at the Springs, so show up early or venture out somewhere new, like Fort Christmas, whose giant BBQ grills can easily accommodate crowds.

Wekiva Island offers up all the right vibes too, so consider grabbing eats at their food truck and enjoying some fun in the sun.

If you can hold off until July 6th, Seaworld starts their annual Bands, Brews and BBQ – great for noshing on all your favorite smokehouse meats.

Weekends at the Winery

Enjoy rolling hills and vineyard views at this family-friendly picnic-style event, which happens every weekend! If the family couldn’t get out for July 4th, this is a perfect place to have an all-American experience over the holiday weekend. Bring a picnic blanket and enjoy live entertainment, BBQ options for purchase, and samples of the vineyards’ wine. With ample space for the kids to run and play, this is a fun-for-all event.
