4th of July Parades in Orlando for Patriotic Family Fun

The 4th of July is a time to celebrate America’s independence, and what better way to do that than with a festive parade? If you’re in the Orlando area this Independence Day, you’re in luck! Several nearby communities host vibrant parades filled with marching bands, dazzling floats, and plenty of red, white, and blue.

Whether you’re looking for a classic small-town celebration or a lively extravaganza, there’s a parade near Orlando waiting to ignite your patriotic spirit. So, grab your lawn chairs, grab your American flag, and get ready to cheer as we explore the best 4th of July parades the City Beautiful and its surrounding areas have to offer.

Orlando Area 4th of July Parades

20th Annual All American Kids Parade & Breakfast

Thursday, July 4, 8-10:30am
Downtown Winter Garden

Join your community in this down-home tradition that started back in 2004. Kids, wear your red, white, and blue and parade through historic downtown by foot, bike, scooter, wagon, etc. Wave to family and friends as you stroll by! Or grab a favorite curbside viewing spot and cheer on the parade as it goes by.

Before the Parade, bring the family to a Pancake Breakfast at the Winter Garden Masonic Lodge, 230 W. Bay Street. Kids eat free and breakfast is available for adults to purchase. There is also entertainment and fun activities for the kids!

City of Celebration Independence Day Parade

The route starts at Town Hall, traverses up Celebration Avenue, down Market Street, and ends near Lakeside Park.

Mount Dora Independence Day Parade

Downtown Mount Dora

Head to downtown Mount Dora for a patriotic tribute parade celebrating our country’s independence! The parade begins at the corner of Donnelly and Seventh and runs to Charles Avenue. 

Eatonville Fourth of July Parade

Thursday, July 4, 12-1pm
Downtown Eatonville

Come out and celebrate Independence Day with a good old-fashioned small-town parade. Floats, animals, marching bands, and so much more.

Downtown Tavares

On July 4th, the City of Tavares will be hosting it’s annual 4th of July Celebration with fun and entertainment for all ages! Kicking off the event at 5 pm with the 4th of July Celebration parade! Followed by fun, games, food, and tunes to honor our nation’s Independence Day. Enjoy live entertainment, food trucks, games, and other activities in Downtown Tavares. 

Avalon Park Bike Parade

Join this patriotic bike parade around Avalon Lake in Avalon Park! Deck out your bikes, strollers, or wagons in red, white, and blue and be at the starting point by 5:30 p.m. At the end, prizes will be distributed to those with the most creative and best group entries. All are invited to be a part of this amazing community event! There is no cost to register, but participants are encouraged to do so before July 3rd online.
