It’s that time of year again! Children are free of bookwork and homework with an entire week ahead of them to fill with adventure. The time is now to book one of the many holiday break camps in the Orlando area. We are sure you will find one that suits your child’s interests. 

Since Thanksgiving has just passed, we are focusing on Winter Break Camps for kids in Orlando and nearby. Also, check out these fun things to do during Winter Break.

Orlando Science Center Break Camps

Orlando Science Center hosts break camps when Orange County Public Schools or Seminole County Public Schools are out of session for teacher work days and holiday breaks including winter and spring break.

Engaging break camps give children a productive and fun way to spend their time off from school with a chance to learn more about STEM in an exciting, interactive environment. Campers will explore a variety of hands-on science topics in a classroom setting and outdoors!

Horse’n Around Holiday Camp

Age Group: 5 – 14

It’s a full day of hands-on learning, basic horsemanship education, riding, games, crafts, and farm animal adventures! Perfect for ages 5–14, no experience needed. registration required. Holiday Camp is available December 22, 2025-January 1, 2026, from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm.

Full Sail Labs

From Full Sail University comes Full Sail Labs. Full Sail Labs pours knowledge and creativity into children, allowing them the opportunity to be creators of technological content not just consumers.

Winter Workshops offer unique, limited experiences similar to our traditional paid single-session educational programs designed to introduce practical skills, techniques, and workflows of the leading Technology, Entertainment, and Media industries. Student learning is collaborative, hands-on, and project-based, providing them full creative control of their own exploration, design, and project development.

​A 1-hour lunch break is built into the schedule for students. Students are responsible for bringing their own lunch, beverages, and snacks.

KidZone & Beyond is happy to offer Winter Camp for Seminole County Public School students in Kindergarten through 5th grade. Students will have the opportunity to engage in fun holiday- themed activities from 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM.

Students must bring lunch, 2 snacks and a refillable water bottle every day. *OPEN TO ALL CURRENT SCPS KINDERGARTEN THROUGH 5TH GRADE STUDENTS.

YMCA Holiday Camp

Holiday Camps are only available at select YMCA locations.

Holiday Camps at the Y provide children with safe, fun, and constructive care while they’re out of school. Campers will learn the YMCA values of caring, honesty, respect, responsibility, and faith as they’re looked after by certified Y team members. Winter Break is available December 22, 2025-January 5, 2026 from 7:00 am – 6:00 pm.

Free Kick Soccer Camp

Age Group: 4-14

Winter Break 2025 camp consists of soccer activities, training, games and scrimmages in their indoor facility. It is designed for beginner and intermediate-level youth players and is directed by qualified coaches.

This Winter, Free Kick is hosting camps Dec 22 – 24, 2025 and Dec 29 – 31, 2025

Full day (9am-4pm) and half day (9am-noon or 1-4pm) availability. Early drop off is available from 8am and late pick up is available until 5pm… at no extra cost. There is concession options for refueling.

Orlando Magic Youth Basketball Camp

Orlando Magic Youth Basketball Camps offer aspiring young players an immersive experience focused on improving your child’s game. All camps include expert instruction with a 1:10 coach-to-player ratio, skill development, player evaluations and more.

Every camper receives an Orlando Magic branded basketball, Magic swag and a ticket to an Orlando Magic home game! Boys and girls, ages 6-17, of all skill levels are welcome.

UKnight Tumble and Cheer

UKnight Tumble and Cheer is a fun and fitness center. This training facility is dedicated to developing young athletes, with a focus on competitive cheer, tumbling, stunting, camps, and birthday parties.

UKnight hosts day camps during the school year when there is no school! Camp is open to boys and girls, will feature fun activities, crafts, games, and the opportunity to make new friends during the holiday break. Hours are 8:30am-4pm. Lunch is not provided; pack a lunch, snacks, and lots of water.

Gymnastics USA

Camps include gymnastics fun activities, cool-down time, games, and much more! The seasonal camps are a great way for children to stay active during school breaks. Although camps include many games and cool-down time, the special focus is Gymnastics, Ninja, or Aerial Silks! Camp G USA for 2025 Winter Break TBA.

Although official gymnastics camp is from 9am-3pm, extended hours in the morning and afternoon are available for an additional charge, with early drop-off starting at 7:45am and extended hours available until 6pm. Text or call (407) 504-0911 with any questions.

Little Performers Camp

Lake Nona Performance Club offered a great Thanksgivign camp, for ages 5-12yrs. Hours span 9am to 5pm (with extended options). It’s set to include crafts, games, pool time, and special classes – we will provide an update if a Winter Break camp is announnced.

City of Orlando

When Orange County Public Schools are closed for a holiday or break, City of Orlando neighborhood centers offer fun, day-long activities for children grades K-5th. They will enjoy crafts, outdoor activities, game rooms and much more. Camp is available November 24 – 26 from 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM.

City of Ocoee

Jim Beech Recreation Center, 1820 A.D. Mims Road, Ocoee

Pricing: $15/day (resident); $19/day (non-resident)  
Age Group: K-8

When school’s out, the City of Ocoee Parks & Leisure services is ready to jump in. The Winter Break Camp will be offered December 22-24, 2025, as well as December 29 – 31, plus January 2 and January 5, 2026 with convenient hours of 6:30am-6pm. Families should pack a lunch and two snacks.

City of Winter Garden

Jessie Brock Community Center, 310 N. Dillard Street, Winter Garden

Pricing: $26/day residents; $32/day non-residents
Age Group: K-8

Bust break boredom with arts and crafts, activities, sport and much more! Qualified, well-trained staff will provide a safe and outstanding break for your child (so you can scratch something off your do-to list). Campers must bring a packed lunch, snacks, and a water bottle to camp every day. This camp is scheduled 7am-6pm for November 24-26.

City of Winter Park
