5 Earth Day Events in Orlando Perfect for Kids

Over the years Earth Day has become a marvelous way to celebrate the planet we call home. Families can take advantage of great events happening this Friday, April 19, 2024 and through the entire weekend.

I have put together a quick list of Earth Day Events in Orlando that your kids are going to love. In fact, my son and I are about the head out the door to get to one of them already! Get out there and explore!

Earth Day in Orlando 2024

Family Exploration Day

Head to Leu Gardens for a family fun day celebrating Glass in Flight 2! Families will discover some interesting facts about insects and participate in crafts centered around the amazing artwork in the Gardens. Earth Day Family Day

Saturday, April 20, 10am – 1pm
Art & History Museums of Maitland

Printed Tote Bag Family Art Workshop where children can play with colors and patterns while using paint to “print” their own tote bags with recycled objects! This art project is inspired by A & H’s founder, Jules Andre’ Smith – a master printmaker who loved experimenting with art, and we can’t think of anything more fun for Earth Day than creating reusable art with recycled materials.

Family art workshop is recommended for children ages 4 and over, and under 4 with parental help! Space and art supplies are limited (one tote bag per child, while supplies last), so sign up today – FREE EVENT
