Florida Mall Welcomes International Clothing Retailer Primark

If you haven’t been to the Florida Mall lately, then you may not realize, there’s a brand new store in town called Primark. The store is an ever popular brand with International visitors. With stores in 15 countries, Primark was founded in 1969 in Ireland and has been growing in popularity ever since.

Having first discovered Primark in the UK and Spain (I do love international travel), I have made a bit of a hobby out of shopping in the amazing retail stores whenever I see them, most recently in my part-time home in Zaragoza, Spain, and on a recent trip to Rotterdam (Holland). Now, giddy me, I get one in my very own backyard!

I made sure to be there for the grand opening at the Florida Mall where I was met with not one, but three snaking lines of hundreds and hundreds of people waiting to step inside the new store, which opened on August 29, 2024.

People fanned themselves with Primark paper fans, stayed placated in the Florida heat and waves of rain with freebies like smoothes from Cosechas and canvas Primark tote bags, and patiently waited for the bargains inside.

You see, for those who know about Primark, it’s the best store you could lay your eyes on, at least in terms of department stores. The lines may have been longer than what you’d find on Disney rides, but the store is worth it.

At Primark, you can find reasonable and affordable prices on home goods, fantastic clothes for children, inexpensive shoes and accessories, and tons of discounts on gifts for the upcoming holiday season.

Once inside, I found the typical discounts that I mentioned as well as their claim to fame here in the Orlando store – an entire floor dedicated to all things Disney.

The fact of the matter is, when you add a store like Primark to a mega mall, like, Florida Mall, you’re going to really drive in more international tourism. Because Primark is an institution in so many other countries, this was a huge positive move for the Florida Mall.

This addition comes alongside the openings of more Internationally recognized stores like Uniqlo and Miniso, bringing that International subset even closer to home. Also worth mentioning is the popular Gatcha Japanese game arcade, and popsicles from Morelia Gourmet Paletas

All things considered, the target audience may be visitors, but with our great round-up of things to do with kids at the Florida Mall, Primark has just elevated the fun.

Consider Primark your new one-stop shop for Disney gear (at amazing prices), and when it’s time to take the kids for back-to-school shopping or for a new holiday-themed outfit, Primark will be just the place.

It’s not just kids’ clothes, of course, and all are welcome to find great deals for themselves.

I would suggest that if you want to bring your kids down for a fun shopping day at the mall, spend a good amount of time in the Primark store, located centrally next to the American Girl store.
