Ask any parent what they’re hoping to do on New Year’s Eve, and the answer will rarely include letting the kids stay up until midnight. Thankfully, there are lots of spots in Orlando that offer family-friendly New Year’s Eve celebrations. And it’s all happening in just a few weeks!

The tradition has grown in popularity in recent years because, let’s face it, Mom and Dad deserve to ring in 2026 without tired, crying little ones running around in their pajamas.

Read on for our list of the best New Year’s at Noon countdowns for children in the area. We’re including other New Year’s Events for kids in Orlando besides those that take place at noon. Many of these events require advanced booking so don’t miss out!

Orlando’s longest-running dinner show at WonderWorks is getting a holiday makeover this season, bringing a little extra magic and joy to guests this December – including New Year’s Eve.

It’s a night of magic tricks, fun decorations, and enjoy an unlimited holiday feast. Dinner includes unlimited pizza, salad, dessert, beer, wine, and soda. Special holiday-themed cocktails are available for purchase.

Asian Lantern Festival – New Year’s Eve

The lantern festival will be held on December 31, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. with entry times at both 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Families can stroll through dozens of larger-than-life, handcrafted lanterns around the Zoo, plus enjoy a DJ and a countdown at 7:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. – the perfect early celebration.

While the Winter Wonderland Market at Grande Lakes Orlando is open to the public on a few nights in December, it is also home to a marvelous New Year’s Eve celebration from 7:00 p.m. – midnight. This charming Christmas village will have seasonal delights, snowfall, and festive activities.

This New Year’s Eve, bring the whole family to Family New Year’s event for an early celebration filled with good food, fun, and fireworks! Sparks in the Park

Sparks in the Park for 2025 is TBA. This event is free, family-friendly, and open to the public.

Beginning at 5 p.m., bring blankets and chairs and find a spot in the park to enjoy the last sunset of 2025 while a DJ hosts a family-friendly dance party throughout the park.

At 6:30 p.m., the fun continues with a 20-minute musically choreographed fireworks show over the main pond.

Following the fireworks display, neighbors are invited to enjoy dinner, drinks, festivities, and all that downtown has to offer.

Brevard Zoo’s Noon Years Eve – Worth the drive!
