Kid Friendly New Year’s Eve Celebrations in Orlando – at Noon and Later

Ask any parent what they’re hoping to do on New Year’s Eve and the answer will rarely include letting the kids stay up until midnight. Thankfully, there are lots of spots in Orlando that offer family friendly New Year’s Eve celebrations. The tradition has grown in popularity in recent years because, let’s face it, Mom and Dad deserve to ring in 2024 without tired, crying little ones running around in their pajamas.

Read on for our list of the best New Year’s at Noon countdowns for children in the area. And we’re including other New Year’s Events for kids in Orlando besides ones that take place at noon.

It’s also lots of fun to enjoy the best Christmas light displays in Orlando, even on New Year’s Eve.

Noon Year’s Eve at Seminole County Library

Held on the day before New Year’s Eve (Saturday, December 30), this event is geared for kids age 3 to 7 but appropriate for the entire family. Enjoy a party at the library with dance music, New Year’s crafts and games, and other special activities leading up to a confetti-and-bubbles countdown at noon. No registration is required for this event.

Winter Wonderland Market

December 15, 16, 22, 23, 28, 29, 30 – 5-9pm

There is no ticket required, and self-parking can be validated when you make a purchase at one of the charming cottages. A free train ride goes around the perimeter of the festive lawn, plus there are yard games and crafts for kids.

Kid’s New Year’s Eve at Legoland Florida

At Legoland Florida, there are special fireworks daily from December 26 through 31. Park admission is required, and parents and kids will find special activities throughout the theme park celebrating the season. In fact, we LOVE the Holidays at LEGOLAND!

And on New Year’s Eve itself there will be the Annual Giant Brick Drop and Fireworks Extravaganza starting at 8:00 p.m.

Moo Year’s Eve Party at Millie Moos

Kid’s play place and café Millie Moos will host its annual Moo Year’s Eve party on December 31 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. In previous years, the event has included everything from snow flurries to a dance party. There’s also a noon balloon drop to welcome 2024. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased online.

Jazzberry Jammin’ Noon Year’s Eve

Families can ring in the New Year during the afternoon with Colorful family fun! All activities are included in general admission.

Tick-Tock, the clock is about to strike noon! Why stay up late past your bedtime when you can ring in the afternoon with your friends at the Science Center?

Kid’s New Year’s Eve Party at Uno Pizzeria and Grill Winter Garden

While this starts a bit after noon, it’s a fun event for hungry families.

From 4 p.m. through 8 p.m., grab a meal at Uno’s Pizzeria and Grill in Winter Garden then stay for the early NYE festivities. There’s a ginger ale toast, party swag, and kids coloring activities, as well as two countdowns and balloon drops at 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. Call (407)877-6510 to make a reservation.

Old Town’s New Year’s Eve Celebration


Stroll through the Old Town entertainment district for a family-friendly festivity including live music, entertainment, a car show, and a free fireworks finale at midnight. Event starts at 1pm with concert at 7pm.

New Year’s Eve Family Event at Boxi Park

Ring in 2024 a little early at Boxi Park with an all-ages party, a countdown, and a ball drop! Celebrate on December 31, 4pm – 8pm in Lake Nona.

Drawn to Life presented by Cirque du Soleil and Disney

The family-friendly show tells the story of the love between a father and a daughter, drawing inspiration from Walt Disney Animation Studios’ 100-year heritage of storytelling. The show shares joy as it celebrates iconic Disney stories and characters through innovative design, acrobatic performances, brilliant choreography, musical scores, and brand-new animation lovingly created by Disney Animation artists. Performances are at 1:30pm and 4pm.

The Outta Control Magic Comedy Holiday Dinner Show

Orlando’s longest-running dinner show at WonderWorks is getting a holiday makeover this season, bringing a little extra magic and joy to guests this December – including New Year’s Eve.

It’s a night of magic tricks, fun decorations, and enjoy an unlimited holiday feast. Dinner includes unlimited pizza, salad, dessert, beer, wine, and soda.

Special holiday-themed cocktails are available for purchase.

Asian Lantern Festival – New Year’s Eve

The lantern festival will be held on Saturday, Dec. 31, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. with entry times at both 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Families can stroll through dozens of larger-than-life, handcrafted lanterns around the Zoo, plus enjoy a DJ and an hourly countdown and celebration.
