Best Birthday Party Venues in Orlando for Teens

Fear not… Orlando Parenting has rounded up the best birthday party venues in Orlando for teens.

Active Party Ideas for Teens

Andretti Indoor Karting & Games

9299 Universal Blvd., Orlando | (407) 610-5020

Not too many venues offer a teen birthday party package, but Andretti’s shifts gear to drive up the fun for those 13 years old to young adult. Priced at $54.95 per person, the Octane Package includes one race, laser tag, one-hour of game play, plus a specialty attraction such as virtual reality, race simulators, or bowling. Partygoers can then fill their tanks with pizza and party treats.

Also, try Planet Obstacle.

Epic Axe Throwing

47 E. Robinson Street, Suite #104, Orlando | (385) 429-3386

A little friendly competition really hits the mark among teens. Smaller groups (4-5 people) can book a one-hour reservation at Epic Axe Throwing for $30 per person. Larger groups (6-30) can aim for the bullseye during a two-hour session, for $49.50 per person. An onsite coach will help each partygoer practice and master the art of axe throwing.

Also try disc golf at Bill Frederick Park.

Lake Nona Adventure Park

14086 Centerline Dr., Orlando | (407) 313-2907

For tweens with spring or summer birthdays, Lake Nona Adventure Park is the coolest outdoor party venue in town. Priced at $450 for 10 people, the Adventure Park boasts epic slides and obstacles, plus pizza, drinks and reserved table space. Make an even bigger splash by adding on the Wake Nona Park. Priced at $800, Wake Nona Park balances fast-paced fun, with the silliness of the Adventure Park.

Orlando Paintball

These days, teenagers rarely play with water guns and nerf guns, but many are eager to suit up for a paintball battle. Orlando Paintball provides downloadable invitations and offers a package inclusive of rental gear for $20 per person. A discount of 5% may be applied for groups of 5 or more, and a discount of 10% may applied for groups of 10 or more. Plus, Orlando Paintball offers pizza options too.

Also try Battleground Orlando

Orlando Tree Trek Adventure Park

7625 Sinclair Rd., Kissimmee | (407) 390-9999

Perhaps your teen is no longer climbing trees, but he/she/they could love swinging between them. Orlando Tree Trek Adventure Park takes birthday party excitement up a notch with 425 feet of zip lines and nearly 100 aerial obstacles. Tarzan-like teens can try balancing on hanging skateboards, climbing on swinging rope ladders and crossing wobbly bridges. Tickets are typically $59.95 per person for daytime fun (with discounted group rates available), or $48.95 for nighttime exploration.

PopStroke

To stay on par with your teen’s expectations, book a round (or two) at PopStroke, a fairly new outdoor golf venue owned by Tiger Woods. Holed up in Waterford Lakes, PopStroke features two 18-hole putting courses and other sporty activities. Food, drink and ice cream packages are customizable. Party packages require a minimum of 10 guests.

Also try Drive Shack and TopGolf.

Wave of Wellness

Various locations | (850) 445-8348

We’re sure that your teen will be on board with a SUParty (that’s stand-up paddleboard party). While it’s not a typical party venue per se, Wave of Wellness can provide all the gear you need to for an awesome party on a local body of water. SUParty packages includes 10 boards for two instructor-led hours (starting price of $399).

Beginners may prefer the Was’SUP? package to learn the FUNdamentals of this leisure sport. However, experienced (or enthusiasts) paddlers should drive into the SUP X-Games package. It’s an epic experience full of tandem challenges, tug-of-war, relays and team-building shenanigans. So fun!

Rage Room

4065 L. B. McLeod Rd., Ste G, Orlando | (407) 712-6394

Rage rooms are all the rage among teenagers. Never heard of the concept? Well, it’s all about letting teenagers let out their teenage angst by smashing glass, appliances, and more. For $195.55, up to six teens can de-stress by breaking electronics and other stuff provided by the facility (or bring up to two boxes of your own breakables).

Ideas for Those That Need More Options

Comic Controllers

628 8th St., Clermont | (407) 476-1323

Approximately 97% of teens play computer, web, and portable or console games, according to data by Pew Research. For most teens, says Pew, gaming is a social activity and a major component of their overall social experience. With these statistics top of mind, we bet that your teen would love a gaming party at Comic Controllers.

Ideal for about 25 people, their Power-Up Lounge can be rented out for private parties, for around $100 per hour. The large screen is equipped with XBOX Game Pass with hundreds of games, plus Nintendo Switch with Mario Kart and Super Smash Bros. A smaller screen offers hundreds of games from vintage Nintendo, Sega, and PlayStation systems. Bring in your own food, or add on floats, specialty sodas, cookies, and pretzels.

Stadium Club

8101 World Center Dr, Orlando, FL 32821 | (407) 238-8120 (inside Caribe Royale Resort)

Treat your teen to the ultimate sports birthday party, without dealing with the weather. Stadium Club is located inside Caribe Royale Resort in Lake Buena Vista.

Stadium Club aims to provide a stadium-like experience with large screens visible from around the bar and dining room. Best of all there are game simulators in private-bays. You can book these bays by the hour and enjoy interactive game simulators like soccer, golf, football, soccer, hockey, and even carnival games!

Escapology

11951 International Dr., Unit C3, Orlando | (407) 278-1515

Teenagers think they have it all figured out, right? Well, put your know-it-all to the test with an escape room challenge. Escapology’s birthday package is geared for 8-12 problem-solvers. It includes a souvenir pin, birthday card and Escapology t-shirt for the birthday guest, plus team photos and completion certificates for all. Pizza, soda and cake are also available.

Also try Escape Game Orlando, Escape Artists, and American Escape Game.

Icon Park

8375 International Dr., Orlando (407) 601-7907

If your teen cannot decide which birthday activity to go with this year, opt for a group package that grants access to multiple attractions at ICON Park. There are various bundle offerings including the Play Pass, which includes upwards of ten experiences like The Wheel, The Great Florida Road Trip, SEA LIFE Aquarium, Madame Tussauds, Museum of Illusions, Max Action Arena and 7D Motion Theater. Smaller packages combine two or three attractions, plus ICON Park planners can customize group packages to fit the needs of your birthday bash. Pssst… you can even pay to have The Wheel illuminated with your teen’s favorite color.
