6 Indoor Playgrounds for Toddlers in Orlando – And Older Kids Too

Finding the perfect place for your little ones to play and explore indoors can be a challenge, but Orlando has plenty of toddler-friendly options! The great outdoors is our favorite place to spend time as a family, but sometimes mother nature has other plans. Heading inside is easy thanks to all the indoor activities around town. But let’s focus just on play equipment. Every child needs physical activity, and these indoor playgrounds bring it!

These indoor playgrounds are ideal for toddlers, with soft play areas and sensory experiences as well as smaller play structures designed for tiny hands and feet.

By the way, if you have older kids who have tons of energy to burn, consider these Orlando trampoline parks as well.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Clean socks are required for all of these indoor playgrounds, and some venues require the purchase of their special socks.

A large play structure is ideal for older kids, while multiple areas for toddlers are available.

Children’s Planet

4401 S Orange Ave, Orlando, FL 32806
$20 per child, plus the cost of socks
Noise level: Mild

Newly opened in the SoDo area of Orlando, Children’s Planet Indoor Playground is a much-needed resource for parents in SoDo. The cost is a bit higher than other indoor playgrounds in Orlando, but considering its proximity to Downtown Orlando and being in the heart of SoDo the price does reflect the neighborhood.

The main attraction is a large indoor play structure with multiple levels and lots of climbing. This particular part of Children’s Planet is not best for toddlers, though they are allowed to play on it.

I would suggest parents be ready to join them as older kids love the main play structure and move vigorously throughout it. There are smaller play items for toddlers, and I am told more will be added in the coming months.

Children’s Planet is currently in “soft opening” and will have an official opening in early March.

Monkey Joe’s

Two locations: Winter Park, FL, and Pointe Orlando
$24.99 per person, $9.99 (kids 2 and under)
Noise level: High

Monkey Joe’s is a fun-filled indoor play center best suited for kids ages 5 and up. With inflatable obstacle courses, slides, a playground, and video games, it’s the perfect spot for energetic play. While there is a small designated toddler area to keep younger children safe, the main attractions are geared toward older, more active kids who love to climb, bounce, and explore.

Funtastic Depot

6828 Hoffner Ave, Orlando, FL 32822
Cost: Inflatable Concept Park: $14.95; All-Included Park Pass: $24.95
Noise level: High

Highlights of Funtastic Depot include a ninja warrior course, climbing walls, an arcade, karaoke, and the Inflatable Concept Park. While there is a small toddler zone for younger kids, most attractions are designed for older children who love action-packed fun. Families can also enjoy an exciting live music show complete with lights and special effects.

Personally, this spot is too overstimulating for our family, but it’s a great place for plenty of other Orlando families.

Bonus ideas! The main attraction at Crayola Experience in the Florida Mall is not the indoor playgrounds, but it is worth noting that are two playgrounds within it: one for ages 5 -12, and another just for toddlers.

Another idea is Småland at IKEA, an indoor playground where you can drop off your children for up to one hour while you shop.

From sensory-friendly play areas to action-packed structures and creative activities, these spots provide endless opportunities for safe and exciting fun.

So, grab some socks, pack a snack, and get ready to explore these fantastic indoor play destinations—your little ones will thank you!
