Pro-tips to Have a Blast at LEGOLAND Florida’s Summer Brick Party
Calling all LEGO lovers! Summer is in full swing at LEGOLAND Florida Resort. The annual Summer Brick Party is a three-month-long celebration with shows, meet-and-greets with special LEGO characters, and delicious summer treats.
Our team experienced opening day on June 1, and the Summer Brick Party runs daily through August 11. It’s one of the best things to do this summer.

Summer Brick Party Characters, Shows, and Eats
NEW Characters and NEW Dance Parties!
There are opportunities to meet exciting new characters like I heart LEGOLAND Boy and I heart LEGOLAND Girl, and the NEW bright red LEGO DUPLO bunny, Hopsy. This is the first time the DUPLO bunny appears in character form in the park! I am so glad my six year old gladly greeted this precious character.
Geared toward preschoolers, there is a NEW exclusive show, Playtime with Hopsy which teaches little ones how to play using their imagination. It is a 15 minute show, taking place outside, but in the shade. Followed by a meet and greet session with Hopsy.

And LEGO Shark Suit Guy, a longtime favorite of SUMMER BRICK PARTY now has a new meet and greet location near the front of the park. You can find his surf shack at Fun Town, next to the ice cream shop. It’s an indoor greeting location with fun surf-style decorations (and air conditioning).

Shimmy your way through park-wide dance parties with LEGO characters, including an exciting NEW show, Party. Play. Fun!, filled with high-energy party music, singing, and dancing.

Go Xtreme!
This adrenaline-pumping show is making a comeback this summer! During the high-flying action of Go Xtreme! you’ll be on the edge of your seat as stunt performers compete for fame on LEGO City’s hit TV show soaring on skateboards, stunt bikes, and more.
Our six year old had not been interested in such shows in the past, but this year he was all about it! His reactions to the performance entertained us as much as the show itself did – so fun!

Stick around after the show to meet the newest character, LEGO Producer for pictures and high fives.
Unique Water Ski Show
If you want to cool off from the summer heat, you can sail over to Brickbeard’s Watersport Stunt Show. While there, you can wave to Brickbeard’s buccaneer recruits as they perform a gravity-defying water stunt show, featuring wakeboarding, barefoot-skiing, jump acts, and the show’s iconic waterski pyramid on select dates.
Summer Snacks and Sips
Indulge in an array of NEW seasonal delights! Sink your teeth into the seasonal Pineapple Party Apple Fries, topped with vanilla ice cream, and served on a pineapple upside-down cake.
Our favorite treat of the bunch is the Piña Colada Paradise Shake. This milkshake is meant for everyone in the family with Dole soft serve and coconut milk, topped with fresh whipped cream, pineapple delights candle, a cherry, and toasted coconut around the rim.
As I sipped on this summery concoction everyone that passed by had to know what it was and where to get one of their own. At $16.00 it is pricey, but it was large enough to share among our family of three – and it comes in a color changing souvenir cup.
For lunch, we ordered the Let’s Shred Tacos and the Let’s Shred Nachos at Taco Everyday at LEGO Movie World. These braised pork tacos and nachos have awesome toppings like queso blanco, salsa verde, fresh onion, and cilantro, plus grilled pineapple.
Between the three of us these two entrees satisfied us all. You may want to grab a spoon to help with the toppings of the yummy nachos.
The grilled Argentinian chorizo topped with fresh chimichurri on a hoagie at Dragon’s Den is a surprise feature. It is very authentic with powerful and potent garlic and lime flavors. While it is not very photogenic, it is tasty and hearty.
Red, White, & BOOM!
Celebrate Independence Day as the skies above Lake Eloise fill with colorful fireworks. Watch as the skies fill with LEGOLAND’s biggest fireworks show of the year in the only place that transforms fireworks into LEGO bricks before your eyes.
