Adrenaline Rush
10401 U.S. 441, Leesburg #2004 | (352) 460 – 7919
This mega-recreation complex has something for every interest. We’re talkin’ about indoor go-karting, laser tag, axe throwing, four different escape rooms, billiards, an arcade, and more. Some activities do have age/height recommendations; for example, riders must be 48” tall for junior karting and 55” tall for standard karting.

However, the newly opened Kids’ Corner is specifically designed with younger children in mind (ages 1-9 years old). This 4,000-square-foot inflatable park features bounce houses, several imaginative play toys stations, a baby area and cozy couches for parents.
Florida Citrus Tower
141 N. Highway 27, Clermont | (352) 394-4061
Claiming to be “one of Florida’s first attractions,” the Citrus Tower seems like an obligatory must-do for Orlandoans. Built in 1956, this soaring structure stretches 226 feet (equivalent to 22 stories), with its antenna extending to 500 feet above sea level.
Kids will enjoy the long elevator ride and, for those not afraid of heights, the views are spectacular. If possible, reserve a time slot close to sunset to capture picturesque panoramic shots and selfies. Don’t forget to pop into Citrus Coffee in the lobby to try refreshing drinks, like the Citrus Twist and Orange Butter Crème – a favorite, unique coffee shop in town.

Presidents Hall of Fame
123 N. Hwy 27, Clermont | (352) 394-2836
If a flight to Washington D.C. is beyond your family fun budget, just hop in the car for a quick trip to Lake County. The Presidents Hall of Fame is a beloved roadside attraction (right next to the Citrus Tower) that showcases wax figures of our nation’s leaders and first ladies, a 60-by-20-foot replica of the White House and authentic artifacts.
Browse gowns worn by first ladies, historical documents, and seats from the Oval Office and Ford Theater where Lincoln was assassinated. Opened since 1963, this longstanding American history museum is all about “edutainment,” meaning you can empower your children to have fun while learning.

You can get the whole family to jump for joy – literally – with time spent at SkyZone. This huge indoor arena is packed with 16 epic jump experiences, eight of which are new as of 2021 (with five other jump attractions slated to be added in 2022).
Kids can conquer the giant swinging sweeper in the Wipe Out area, climb the Tower, flip out in the Foam Zone, get in gladiator mode with SkyJoust and go freestyle with other obstacles. Younger jumpers can work the Kids Zone and also attend during designated Toddler Time sessions. You may find yourself pondering whether an annual pass is a smart investment.
Jungle Zone

If you’ve ever felt like your kids act like wild animals (I can’t be the only one!), then Jungle Zone may feel like home. This indoor bounce house place boasts wall-to-wall inflatables, with 8 inter-connected slides, obstacle courses and jumpers. So fun!
Plus, to keep even the littlest of monkeys’ safe, Jungle Zone has a toddler-only area. The fun continues with arcade games, a café and, best yet, an epic parents’ area complete with massage chairs and Wi-Fi so mom and dad can feel like the king and queen of the jungle.

The Modernism Museum is a great place for artists of all ages because, as this museum declares, the space can “ignite the imagination, stimulate thought and provide enjoyment.” The furniture, paintings and other art pieces are bold, colorful and whimsical, with hours of operation running Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10 am to 5 pm.

Orlando Cat Café

When it comes to making adorable memories with the kids, let’s just say that the Orlando Cat Café is the cat’s meow. This cute coffeehouse has comfortable furniture, yummy bites and a small kids’ play area in the back of the café. However, all the cool cats hang out in the adjacent Cat Play Area! Standard bookings, priced at $10 per adult and $8 per child less than 12 years, grant one hour of play time with several fuzzy and frisky feline friends.
Orlando Cat Café also hosts a dedicated timeslot specifically for children, plus other cat-accompanied events within the Cat Play Area such as high tea, painting and yoga (no official word on if ‘downward dogs’ are renamed something more feline-friendly). And if you see a kitty that you just can’t live without, initiate the pet adoption process.
