Brick by Brick: Family Fun Events and New Attractions at LEGOLAND Florida Resort in 2026

|

If LEGOs are a staple in your house (and let’s be honest, they probably are), 2026 is shaping up to be an especially exciting year for Central Florida families. LEGOLAND Florida Resort has announced a full calendar of new attractions, returning favorites, seasonal celebrations, and budget-friendly ticket options designed with families firmly in mind.

From a brand-new indoor coaster to beloved NINJAGO weekends and one of Florida’s Halloween celebrations, here’s a parent-friendly look at what’s coming — and how to plan your year of bricktastic adventures.

We’ll go season by season so you can see all the fun events in 2026.

Winter fun at LEGOLAND Florida Resort

Returning: LEGO® NINJAGO® Weekends

NINJAGO Weekends return on select dates — January 31 and February 7, 14, and 15 — celebrating LEGO NINJAGO’s 15th anniversary with high-energy fun that’s especially popular with elementary-age kids.

Families can expect interactive activities, character meet-and-greets, live shows, and hands-on building opportunities that encourage teamwork and imagination. It’s an event that works well for first-timers and repeat visitors alike, with plenty to do even if your child isn’t a hardcore NINJAGO fan.

Returning: LEGOLAND® Water Park reopens February 14

Just in time for warmer weather, the LEGOLAND Water Park reopens for the season on February 14. The park features more than seven family-friendly water slides and the always-popular Build-A-Raft Lazy River, where kids can design their own LEGO raft before floating along the waterway.

This is a great option for families looking to add water play without the intensity of a traditional water park, especially for younger children.

New: LEGO® Galacticoaster opens February 27

One of the biggest headlines for 2026 is the debut of LEGO® Galaxy and its signature attraction, Galacticoaster, opening February 27.

This all-new indoor family coaster is LEGOLAND Florida’s most technologically advanced ride to date. Before boarding, guests design their own spacecraft using interactive touchscreens and RFID technology, creating one of more than 625 possible ride vehicle combinations.

Families will recognise the playful design instantly, and the reveal makes the launch feel much closer and way more real. Inside the attraction guests will customise their spacecraft via touch-screens and RFID wristbands (choosing nose, wings, tail and special features), unlocking over 625 possible combinations before blasting off into a glowing, story-filled LEGO galaxy.

Those custom designs then become part of the ride experience, complete with immersive lighting, special effects, and appearances from classic LEGO Space characters.

For families with kids ready to graduate from gentle rides to something a bit more thrilling (but still family-friendly), this will be a must-do.

Summer highlight: LEGO® Festival Returns

LEGO Festival returns in 2026 as a global celebration of creativity, music, and play. Expect interactive entertainment, large-scale LEGO builds, and hands-on activities designed to get kids moving, building, and imagining together.

Last year, during LEGO Festival’s debut, we loved the extra activities, especially the character greets and summer treats. It’s a nice complement to the park’s rides, especially during longer summer days.

Red, White & BOOM! – July 4

Independence Day at LEGOLAND Florida Resort includes patriotic LEGO building activities, themed entertainment, and a nighttime fireworks show set to music. The event also marks America’s 250th birthday, adding an extra layer of celebration for 2026.

The holiday season brings festive LEGO décor, twinkling lights, interactive entertainment, and a towering LEGO Christmas tree. Our family adores LEGO Santa, among the other adorable characters, during Holidays at LEGOLAND.
